Services
IMED has been developing high-quality medical education programs in a wide variety of therapeutic areas since 1995. We have long-standing, positive relationships with leading physicians, medical schools and institutions, medical organizations, and government agencies. We are proud of the trust we have earned with both CME Sponsors and Grantors.
Program Development
At IMED we collaborate with CME Sponsors and medical organizations in the development and distribution of customized, continuing education programs for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. IMED also develops non-CME activities that include publication development and scientific articles, retrospective data collection and analysis, and scientific advisory boards. All of our programs are underwritten by unrestricted educational grants from the pharmaceutical or diagnostic industry.
Medical Schools and Institutions
In creating these multi-media, integrated programs, we at IMED work closely with well-known medical experts from specific therapeutic areas. In addition, we often collaborate with major teaching institutions, healthcare organizations, and government agencies. The primary purpose of this program development approach is to enhance credibility, clinical relevance, and scientific accuracy and, as a result, audience receptivity to the educational programs that are developed.
Medical Organizations and Government Agencies
We at IMED are proud to have established close relationships with many respected medical organizations and government agencies. These include the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the US Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). In addition, IMED has produced the Video CME Series for the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).
Media, Meeting Planning, and Visiting Faculty
IMED produces educational programs in a variety of media. Some of these include audio CD's, DVD’s, podcasts, CD ROM's, web-based learning programs, publications such as journal articles and supplements, newsletters, monographs, scientific posters, and slide lecture kits. We also plan a variety of meetings such as scientific advisory boards and investigator meetings, CME-designated symposia and plenary sessions. Our Visiting Faculty department can coordinate and manage large visiting faculty programs.
